Planning One of our dedicated Appointed Persons, will visit your site and discuss your particular requirements. They will offer advice and guidance that will enable you to comply with your obligations in line with current procedures and legislation. From these discussions a detailed plan will be drawn up. Enabling the correct crane selection, utilising the selected crane up to its safe limitations. Once the crane selection and plan have been formalised, a comprehensive Risk Assessment and Method Statement will be produced. Detailing the safe systems of work to be adhered to whilst on site, that allow the lifting operation to be completed in the most efficient and safest manner possible.
The specific requirements for supervising the task, will be delegated to a trained and competent CPCS qualified Crane Supervisor, he will ensure the whole lift team are sufficiently briefed. He will then continue to assess and monitor the operation, to ensure compliance with the RAMS and current legislation. Execution of the Task All personnel involved in the operation will be trained and competent. Competency will be measured by CPCS accreditation. All personnel will be fully briefed prior to the task and all will require undergo site induction training. They will all be provided with the correct equipment and PPE to enable them to carry out the task safely.
Following completion of the lifting operation there will be the opportunity if required, for all parties to provide feedback, thus enabling lift team and client to learn and improve.
